Cleveland Royal Powell III departed this life on Friday, June 24, 2022. He was 42 years old. Loving son of Cleveland R. and Bessie A. Powell. He was a graduate from Marion Abramson class of 2000, and he furthered his education at ITT Technical Institute. Loving father of Cleveland R. Powell IV and Caleb Powell. Brother of Nolan J. Powell, Karlas Powell-Henry (William J. Henry III). Loving uncle to Nolisha Saalihah, Karma, Nalon, William IV, Amber, and Kolston. Cleveland is also survived by a host of great nieces, nephews, other relatives, and devoted friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a memorial service in his honor which will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2022, at Ray Avenue Baptist Church, located at 4712 Ray Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70126, at 10 a.m. Due to COVID-19, it is recommended that everyone in attendance wear a facemask.
