Corey Johnson

1989 - 2024

Corey Johnson was called to his heavenly home on Sunday, August 18, 2024, at the age of 35. He was a native of New Orleans, LA. Corey accepted Jesus Christ at an early age and was baptized by his Pastor, the late Rev. Andrew Johnson. Corey was a 2008 graduate of L.E. Rabouin High School. He graduated from HazMat Career Training program at Dillard University where he earned his TWIC certification with Hazmat endorsement and went on to work in construction. He was well loved and will be deeply missed. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Charles and Sadie Robertson; his paternal grandparents Olive and Earl Johnson; and his father, Conroy Earl Johnson, Sr. He leaves to mourn his mother, Troylynn Robertson; brother, Conroy Earl Johnson Jr.; sister, Trina Johnson; and niece, Zion Schexnayder. He is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Grace & Glory Family Worship Church International, 802 Third Street, New Orleans, LA on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. Pastor James Thomas III, officiating.
