Corrine Clark Stewart
Mrs. Stewart, 71, the daughter of the late Lucy and James Clark was born in Elberton, Georgia on December 15, 1931. The Lord called her home on August 29, 2003 at Presbyterian Hospital Hospice Unit.
She attended West Charlotte High School and graduated with the class of 1951. Ms. Stewart worked as a Home Health Care worker and retired from Radiator Specialty Company after years of service. She attended Macedonia Baptist Church where she was an active member and served on many boards.
She leaves to cherish four daughters: Cossie Stewart, Carolyn Clark (Joe), Denese Stewart, and Jackie Stewart: two sisters, Dorothy M. Clark, and Lucille Allen (Burlin), 7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren all of Charlotte, NC, and a host of relatives and friends.
Visitation for Corrine Stewart will be held Wednesday, September 3, 2003 from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., with funeral services on Thursday, September 4, 2003 2:00 p.m. at Alexander Funeral Home Chapel 1424 Statesville Ave. The family will receive friends at 2120 Syracuse Dr.
