My heart cries out for you. My eyes look and listen for you to come into the room I’m in and say “Hi, Momma, I’m home” and watch a mother’s thankful smile that God’s Grace brought you home. Only, this time he brought you to your heavenly home to be with “HIM”. Your family you with all their hearts but God loves you BEST. Rest In Peace, my loving D’Juan.

DJuan was a special gift to all
of his friends and family. We met in 1984 working for the World´s Fair, we were instant friends and remained in touch through the years. He was loyal, insightful, supportive and an amazing entrepreneur. He loved having coffee or lunch outdoors (despite my protests) and his laughter was infectious! I will miss him.
He loved his family deeply and I pray his children continue to make him proud. God bless you all! Special love sent to his dear mother, Ms. Elnora.

D´Juan was a great friend. We worked in a law firm together 20 years ago. I admired and respected his legal skills, but more importantly his entrepreneurial skills. He was a remarkable man. Although we have seen each other intermittently since lawyering together, he and I would see each other and it was like old friends. I will miss his booming laugh and wonderful attitude toward life.

D´Juan was wonderfully kind and generous. He was consistently smiling - regardless of the situation.
He was consistently positive - regardless of the moment.
He was consistently kind - regardless of the company.
I believe these traits were spiritual fruit and I´m blessed to have experienced his joy.
He will be greatly missed, by me and those who called him friend. May we know the peace that surpasses all understanding .

To the Hernandez Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. My family and I are praying you. I was shocked and speechless to hear of the passing of my high school classmate. I remember when D'Juan picked me up in the mornings for school at St. Aug. or when we went to hang out at Xavier Prep's Fairs to find girls.
When we left St. Aug. surprisingly, we both went on to become lawyers. I guess like-minded friends think alike. D' Juan was intelligent, gifted and personable. In addition, he was intuitive and always had a special insight when it came to real life situations. He was my childhood friend and classmate, and he will forever be remembered and missed. I pray God's peace comforts his family.
Blessings,
Yancy A. Carter, Esq.
