David Baize Obituary

BAIZE David Glenn Baize III, was set free from his life on June 2, 2012. A native New Orleanian, former resident of La Jolla, CA and current resident of Virginia Beach, VA for the past 13 years. David was born on June 16, 1983 to Cheryl Breck, who lovingly called him Dave and David Glenn Baize, Jr. He was a nurturing older brother to Ashlynn Breck Reis, who fondly called him Baboo. He is survived by his mother, sister, a very special father figure, father; grandmother; Geraldine P. Thomas, his grandfather; David Glenn Baize, Sr., his godparents; Frank and Marie Breck and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. He is predeceased by grandparents, Frank "PawPaw" and Geraldine Breck Jr., as well as his beloved canine companion, Bolo. David loved to live and lived to love while enjoying surfing, snowboarding, skateboarding, fast vehicles, the art of tattoo's and music, favoring Reggae. The family is forever grateful to Hobie who was his brother from "another mother" and to Brian and Brandy Baker for making him part of their family and furthered his love and passion for tattoos. David was a sharing and giving person, which he learned as a young boy from his Mother, whom he cherished and his late PawPaw, who was like a father to him. He treated his family like friends and his friends like family. David had a long internal struggle with epilepsy, which hindered his life and doing what he loved to do. He accepted that God had a purpose for him with the epilepsy and spent endless hours researching a cure to stop the madness. All his loved ones find comfort in this very trying time, believing that he is in a better place and at peace with his creator in the heavens above. This is a celebration of David's life in honor of his love for jeans, vans, and graphic t-shirts. The family requests that everyone come casually dressed. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations be made in his name for the Pit-bull rescue center at; Villalobos Rescue Center, 4525 N. Claiborne Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70117 Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Private Memorial Service at, 80 Yellowstone Drive, New Orleans, La 70131. I am so sad for the family - I saw David on the series and anyone who worked as hard as he did for animals - the PITBULL - should be remembered till eternity! May the Lord place Angels around his family, both human and canine! Thank you , David for helping to save our dogs! YOu are a servant of GOd and now you are with HIM. YOu will be missed!!
