Dear Tony's family - I dated Tony in high school and he was a dear sweet boyfriend. I went on to marry and have recently lost my 22 yr old son to cancer. I assume Tony had cancer. We wish to extend our deepest sympathy to the Blankenship family. We worked with Swann and Jerry Ann for many years at Texaco and have many good memories of years on the crews when Tony was just a baby and our children played together. We will keep the family in our prayers.

Tony was my childhood friend and classmate at St. Matthew's. I have many fond and vivid memories of happy times with Tony and he will always hold a very special place in my heart. I am deeply saddened to learn of Tony's death and I extend my deepest condolences to you.

To the Blankenship Family:
I was a classmate at Jesuit High in 1972 and knew Tony briefly in the college years. I had never seen a man with so much talent that was totally unselfish and completely modest about his abilities. His mild mannerisms was also a big plus and I enjoyed his conversations always. I was glad to make him laugh and will remember as a gentle giant. I am sorry for your loss and saddened for the world around him.

Steve and Shelley,
I am so sorry for your loss. We all roamed Lee Court, Coventry Court, Charlotte Drive and Garden Road together so many years ago. I will never forget those days, and I will never forget the friendship that continued to grow in our years at Jesuit High.
May God grant His peace, love and mercy to your families,as he graciously accepts Tony into His kingdom.
