David Lackey, Jr. on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital, Alexandria, LA. Son of the late Indiana Watson and David Lackey, Sr. Loving father of David Lackey, III, Harold Banks, Gumeka Banks, Tanequay Banks and the late Indiana Lackey. Brother of Roy (Vicky), Frank (Monica) and Lionel (Jessie) Fields, Ollie Howell, Barbara Lackey, Angeline Douglas, Margia Davis, Anna James, Jacqueline Garrett, Betty Jean Fields and the late Gloria Lackey-Davis. Nephew of Mary Alice Ford. Also survived by 5 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. A native of Waterproof, LA and a resident of Boutte, LA. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Mount Airy Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at Mount Airy Baptist Church, 13635 Old Spanish Trail, Boutte, LA on Monday, April 2, 2018 at 11:00 AM. Rev. Clyde Staes, Pastor, Officiating. Interment Mount Airy Memorial Park Cemetery, Boutte, LA. Visitation at the above named church from 9:00 AM until Service Time. SERVICED BY ROBOTTOM
