Deborah Elizabeth Pendleton

1951 - 2024

To know her was to love her! Deborah was a light in the life of all of those around her. She was a loving and devoted mother, wife, sister and Sha-Sha. Deborah was a kind soul radiating love and joy everywhere she went. Deborah Pendleton Graciana passed away at home on March 10, 2024 in Lafayette, LA. She was a fantastic, fun and loving wife to Christopher Graciana. She is survived by her husband, her daughter and son-in law, Olivia and Scott LeBlanc, her grandchildren Myles and Avery LeBlanc, her sisters Mary Anne Hulse, Jane Pendleton, Jan Pendleton, Renee Suchowiecky (David) and her brother Richard Pendleton, as well as many cherished nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents R. Allen and Mary Pendleton, her brothers Allen and Jeffrey Pendleton, her niece Nicole Suchowiecky and her nephews David Hulse, Brian Hulse and Adam Pendleton. Deborah was born and raised in New Orleans, graduated from Mercy Academy, and went on to attain her degree as a registered nurse. She moved to Lafayette after Hurricane Katrina. She was a fantastic, loving and nurturing single mother, caretaker of her own mother in her later years, inspiration to all who knew her. She was a devoted and caring nurse, totally in her element. She prided herself on her reputation of giving the best "stressless" stress tests to all of her patients. She met the man of her dreams in 2013 and lived the last ten plus years of her life in wedded bliss. She was always surrounded by love and family and faithful and loving friendships. She was a treasure and a shining light to everyone who knew her. She fought like hell battling her Cholangiocarcinoma and is now at peace and pain free with Jesus. Amen, my baby girl, amen! Funeral services will be held at Delhomme Funeral Homes, 1011 Bertrand Drive, Lafayette, LA on Saturday, March 16, 2024. Visitation will be held in the chapel from 9:30 to 11:30, followed by the recitation of the rosary, with services to begin at 12:00. Dress lively and happily as she is with her maker and is dancing in heaven with all of her people. In lieu of flowers, please just do an act of kindness for your neighbor.
