Denise Olga Gorman

After a valiant eight year and three month battle, Denise Olga Gorman passed away on August 3, 2021 from cancer. Denise is the beloved daughter of Charlene Collins Gorman and the late Stanley Martin Gorman, beloved sister of Stanley Michael Gorman, (adored SIL Tammy) and special aunt of Nikolaus Michael Gorman (Elaine McCormick); she was predeceased by her best friend and sister, Sherrell Ann Gorman and nephew Grant Adair Gorman. Denise is also survived by her loved ones from DaParish and God-children Tony Toups and Brittany Jackson. Denise was a proud graduate of Cabrini High School, a member of the Cabrini Alumni Board, President of The Krewe of Isis and board member of the Wally Pontiff Jr. Foundation. Denise loved to bake using her talents and creativity to bake and decorate many cakes for children and special friends. Denise's family would like to thank Dr. Laura Brinz , Dr. Melanie Sheen and the entire Oncology department of LCMC along with the staff of Fidelis Care House and Hospice Specialists of Louisiana for the kind and loving care; we appreciate each all of you. Thank you to those who visited Denise or sent cards, she knew you were there for her; your kindness and concern brought her joy during difficult times. A memorial in Denise's memory will be held at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church 6425 West Metairie Metairie, LA 70003 on Friday, October 15, 2021 at 2:00 pm.
