Dennis Jr. I don't know if you remember me, living next door to your grandparents, my grand Aunt & Uncle, on Stephen Girard. Your dad was one of my favorite uncle's. He was very kind and a great friend to my dad; The last time I saw him was at my grandmothers funeral in 2003 and he had not changed a day. Still the same sweet disposition. His presence will be greatly missed by many, but not nearly as much as you and the rest of your family. May God provide comfort during your time of grief. Aleta, Louis Rivarde's daughter.

In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.
