DeVian Dunbar Obituary

DeVian ReSean (Deezy Da Star) Dunbar was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on January 10, 2022, at the youthful age of 20. DeVian was born November 26, 2001, in New Orleans, La. At Oschner Hospital. He leaves to mourn his father and mother Devin R Dunbar Sr and Dana Turbinton-Dunbar, sisters Ciera, Devine, and Demi, brother in Love John A Love Jr., brothers Devin Jr., Devante, Danerix, Derek, Denero, and Denali; his Grand-Father Woody Turbinton Sr. He is preceded in death by his Grandparents Rev. Mac and Dorothy Dunbar Jr., Patricia Turbinton; uncles Gerald Dunbar and Daryl Turbinton Sr. He is survived and will be greatly missed by a host of family members who cherished and loved him dearly, especially his nephew Ezekiel (EZY) Love, who was his world and his girlfriend Brandy Ann Brown (Las Vegas). Born a star Deezy resided in Las Veags, Nv where his light shined brightly. He was pursuing his dream and thriving in the entertainment industry, hosting events, producing music, and performing shows which provided him with the opportunity to travel the world at a young age. His memory will continue to live on, as he was able to save five lives by donating his organs. Services are being entrusted to Murray Henderson FH. Services will be held Saturday January 29, 2022, at St. Gabriel Archangel Church 4700 Pineda St. N.O., La 70126. I understand that you are famously known as Deezy Da Star, but I remember lil Dae Dae! I hung with your mama as we single mothers strived to provide for our kids. Me and Dana shared so many laughs and stories. Our love for our kids was unmatched! We lost touch for over a decade but no love was ever lost. We dreamed big for our kids, and you seemed to live out the dreams she had for you. You were and will forever be a Star. Shine Bright and Protect the Ladies you left behind. They were very strong when enduring your loss and will need you to continue learning to live without you here on Earth! It was hard seeing you lay there lifeless. But I do know that was your shell, and You are in the Kingdom of Heaven. Rest Well and Shine Bright like a Star!
