1991 - 2021

Devon Eric Hampton entered eternal rest on Thursday, September 21, 2021 in Houston, TX at the age of 30. Devon was born a twin on June 8, 1991 and is the son of Tracy Hampton. Devon lived a life of commitment to his faith and never wavered in his calling to help and serve others. As a young boy, Devon was uniquely spirited and stood out amongst his peers - always choosing to devote his time and energy to praise and worship of the Most High who he affectionately identified as Jesus Christ. Devon worked many jobs, but found comfort in cooking. Prior to his transition, he was on the path of starting his own food truck called Soul Food with a Twist. He cooked regular dishes and added his own flavor to them as he did many things in his life - adding his own twist and meaning to all things. Devon was a family man and worked diligently to support and provide for his family. He worked as a supervisor and customer service representative for TT Tech in Houston, TX. Devon was a family man and his legacy precedes him. Devon was preceded in death by his maternal great grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Frank and Alice Lastie, his maternal grandparents Louis Hampton, Jr. and Alberta Hampton. He leaves his five children to carry his legacy, Josiah Hampton (10), Zakariah Hampton (4), Haylen Hampton (3), Bella Hampton (2), and Devon Hampton, Jr. (1), his estranged wife LaQuestia Hampton, his partner Angel Johnson, his twin sister Devora Hampton, his older brother Darren Hampton, his little sisters Delise Hampton and Daraneka Hampton, his grandmother Devora Hampton, his aunts Alesia Hampton and Troyann Smith, and a hosts of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at Littlejohn Funeral Home, 2163 Aubry Street beginning 10 am. Parlor visitation 9 am to 10 am. Rev.
