Jerry Hampton Obituary
Funeral services will be 1 PM Monday, February 2, 2026 at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Willow Mount Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 12 Noon until service time Monday at the funeral home.
Jerry was an employee of Tyson's for many years and Shelbyville Power and Water for 15 years. He loved horses, completing crossword puzzles, baking Rum Cakes on holidays and socializing with his friends and family.
Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his brother Larry Hampton; sisters, Zelma Hampton, Rosie Lee Coope and Margaret Hampton Bean; nephews, Calvin "Duke" Hampton and Michael DeJaun Hampton.
He leaves to cherish his memory his sister, Arlene (AW) Smith; brothers, Wayne Hampton, Donald (Pam) Hampton and Earnest (Bernice) Hampton; two devoted nephews, Stephen Anton Bowen and Antonio "Tonto" Cooper; a devoted friend James "Speck" Johnson and a host of family and friends.
