To entire Ourso family.
You have my sincere condolences . Mr. Ourso was a regular guest at Commander's Palace. We've shared many wonderful stories of his success. He gave me an autograph copy of his book, Dream The Impossible Dream and wrote me a beautiful personal inscription. (In green). May God keep you all in perfect peace. Rest In Paradise EJ.

I will never forget the time I met Mr. Ourso at Judge Marulo's party when we were laughing and enjoying the dancers who were also having a good time. He was so friendly and kind to me. Later, I was told by several people who he was and I was truly impressed by his kindness and humble demeanor. THANKS FOR YOUR GENEROUSITY AND COMPASSION!

Dear E.J., It is here that everyone wishes to express sympathy and condolences to your family. I too would like to do that as well. But mostly right now I'd like to speak to you from my heart. Although you are no longer with us in body, your spirit will live with us forever. You will be missed each and every day by all who loved and admired you. You did so many wonderful things for so many people, my family included. Thank you for always remembering me on Mother's Day. It was my favorite day of the year. Thank you for the open invitation to ride out hurricane threats at the Hurricane Hotel on the Avenue. Little did we know that this year we'd meet at the Refugee Resort. Again you opened your home to my family. And thank you for that phone call June a year ago. That call gave us a chance and that chance gave us hope. And what do we have if we don't have hope? Here's hoping that we meet again one day. Until then rest in peace, E.J. Love, Gaynell

I knew Mr. EJ Ourso only through the passing words of his grandson, Chad. I gathered that all of the successes in Chad's life have been directly influenced by the truley American story that Mr. Ourso lived. I can only say that if Mr. Ourso's legacy is a testament to his positive influence on the rest of the Ourso family as it has been to Chad, then obviously the Ourso's are a truley blessed. I send my deepest condolences and sympathies to the Ourso family, and that God may bless them as he had blessed Mr. Ourso himself.

My prayers and thoughts go out to the family and many friends of Mr. Ourso. It was a great honor to have been Mr. Ourso's nurse for the past nine and a half years. He was more than a "patient", he became part of my family. He was with me through my marriage, birth of my 2 children and the recent death of my father. Working with Mr. Ourso has been a GREAT learning journey for me that I wouldn't trade for the world. His generous soul and kindness will be missed and thought about each and every day.
