AUBURN - The Rev. Edward J. Foy, 84, of St. Alphonsus Rectory, 10 Lewis St., Auburn, died Thursday, April 24, 2003, at Auburn Memorial Hospital.
A prayer service to Receive a Deceased Priest will be held 1:30 p.m. Sunday, April 27, in St. Alphonsus Church. Father Foy will then lie in state from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7 p.m. in the church. A vigil service will be held 7 p.m. at St. Alphonsus.
On Monday, Father Foy will lie in state from 9 to 10 a.m. in St. Alphonsus, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10:30 a.m. with the Most Rev. Matthew H. Clark, DD, as celebrant. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Elmira.
Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Joseph's School, 101 E. Genesee St., Auburn.
