Ella May Molaison DuMontier Beck passed away on January 15, 2015 at the age of 86. Beloved wife of the late Valsin L. DuMontier by first marriage and of the late Earl A. Beck by second marriage. Mother of Aimee Barbre (Bobby), Thomas F. DuMontier (Adrienne), the late Valsin DuMontier Jr. and Valsin DuMontier II. Step mother of Dana Daigle (Herman), Karen Ivicevich (Tommy) and Sharen Beck. Grandmother of B.J. Barbre (Sarah), Renee Powell (Matt), Paul Barbre (Michelle), Jacob and Zachary DuMontier. Great-grandmother of Hannah, Abigail and Franklin Barbre, Brett and Blake Powell. Sister of Carmen Bourg (the late Charles), the late Robert Molaison (Joan), Fillmore, Harry and Earl Molaison Sr, Estelle Rebouche and Marie Savois. Daughter of the late Harry and Amy Toups Molaison. Also survived by step-grandchildren and great-grandchldren and many other loving friends and relatives. Ella May retired as the Executive Secretary for the Krewe of Bacchus and was a member of Holy Name of Mary Church in Algiers, Catholic Daughter of America, A.A.R.P., SAGES at St. Andrew the Apostle Church, Magnolia Home Extension Club, Ladies Leukemia League, American Legion Post 218 Auxiliary and Women's Life Insurance Society. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 1300 Vallette St., Algiers, LA on Friday, January 23, 2015 from 6 PM to 9 PM. Visitation will resume at Holy Name of Mary Church, 400 Verret Street in Algiers Point on Saturday, January 24, 2015 from 9 AM to 10 AM. A Funeral Mass will follow. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park.
