McCray Ella Mae Hamilton McCray entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at her sister's residence. She was a native of Utica, MS. and a resident of St. Rose, LA. Ella was a faithful full time employee of Charity Hospital for 31 years and part time employee of ABC Upholstery of Gretna, LA for 15 years. Beloved wife of the late Wendell McCray. Stepmother of James Smith of Vicksburg, MS. and also reared her nephew, Kenneth Fultz. Daughter of the late Mattie Wince and L. C. Hamilton. She was reared by her loving and devoted grandmother Martha Ann Virgil. Beloved sister of Lartha Murray of Marrero, LA, Thelma Davis of Louisville, KY and the late Betty Davis and Margaret Burns, also by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
