Elmer Ferrand Obituary

Elmer Lloyd Ferrand, a retired Staff Manager of South Central Bell Telephone Company in New Orleans, died on Tuesday, November 18, 2003. He was 80 years old. Mr. Ferrand was born in New Orleans, LA and lived in Slidell, LA since 1978. He was the past President of the Pioneers of the Metairie, LA Pioneers of America. Also past President of the ""All For Fun'' Carnival Club. He was an Air Force Veteran of World War II serving in the South Pacific. Survivors are: his wife, Maudry Bonnett Ferrand; 3 sons: Rodney, Glenn and Brian; a daughter, Janell F. Berman; 8 grandchildren; a brother, Philip M. Ferrand; 2 sisters: Leah F. Honses and Barbara Gayle Cina. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Service at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. (in Metairie Cemetery), on Wednesday, November 19, 2003 at 7:30 PM. The family will greet friends from 6:30 PM until service time. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Foundation of the South, 1045 Florida Avenue, Slidell, LA 70458, preferred.
