Elmore Joseph Madere Jr. passed away peacefully on Oct. 2, 2021 at the age of 81. He was born on February 19, 1940 and was a lifelong resident of St. Charles Parish. He was a devoted husband for 53 1/2 years to his beloved wife, Jacqueline Aucoin Madere and the loving father of Dale Madere (Missy) and Kirt Madere (Kelly). Grandfather of 3 grandchildren, Mindy Madere Templet (Jonathan), Ethan Madere, and Emily Madere, as well as 2 great-grandchildren, Merynn and McKenna Templet. He is also survived by his sister, Sandra. Elmore served in the U.S. Air Force for 4 years. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 13396 River Rd. Destrehan, LA. Visitation will be held from 10am-12pm with a Mass to begin at 12PM.
