Dear Peggy, I had hoped to be able to attend the memorial service today but am fighting a terrible cold. Ruth said it was truly an inspiring service. How lucky you were to have had such a wonderful father for so long. I hope you know how many thoughts & prayers are with you.

Dear Peggy, I was sorry to read of your dad's passing. We spent an afternoon together when our parents and Susan Hopfer met for a Waverly high school class reunion at my parent's home in 1995. My mother was Marian Hickox Ledyard and your dad was the last survivor of that class. Mary Walker

I was just telling George (my new husband) about Mr. Grayson the other day, and wondering how he was doing. I know he will be missed by all of you. I still have some samples of his woodworking in my home. He was very special.
