Frances Jumonville

Frances Ragusa Jumonville passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2022, at the age of 98. Beloved wife of the late Davis P. "Dave" Jumonville, Jr. Loving mother of Vivian Brecher (Ira), Nicholas Jumonville (Brenda) and Francine Jumonville. Devoted grandmother of Samantha Brecher, Nicholas Jumonville Jr., Benjamin Brecher and Ashlie Cato. Proud great-grandmother of Autumn and Nolan Livingston. Daughter of the late Nicola and Grace Ragusa. Sister of the late Mary Talluto, Shaven Ragusa, Esther Viola and Gus Ragusa. Aunt of Grace Gray. She is also survived by other relatives and many friends. A native of New Orleans, Louisiana, former resident of Metairie, Louisiana and a resident of Kenner, Louisiana for the past 23 years. Mrs. Jumonville was a parishioner of Divine Mercy Catholic Church. The family would like to thank the physicians at Ochsner, staff of Harmony Hospice and Metairie Healthcare for the care and support that was given to Mrs. Jumonville. A special thanks to her caretakers Que, Nelree, Hope and Iola for their love and dedication. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Greenwood Funeral Home, 5200 Canal Blvd, New Orleans, on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, starting at 10:00 AM, followed by a Mass in the chapel at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to be made in Mrs. Jumonville's honor to your favorite charity.
