Sheldon,

I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of Mr. Jones. Mr. Jones became my friend and inspiration. He was a great man.

I would talk and check on Mr. Jones periodically after he returned back to New Orleans. You all had a wonderful father.

You and your family are in my prayers as you get through this difficult time.

Mr. Jones will be missed.

I will miss you Dad. You have always been what a father should be. You taught us when we needed to learn, praised us when we succeeded and loved us unconditionally. I am comfortable knowing that your guidance from childhood to adulthood has shaped Frank and I to be the men that we are today. I love you.

The news of the death of Frank Jones left me with a great deal of sadness. He was a caring and wonderful man. I remember meeting him first when I visited his sister, Jacqueline, in the hospital; he was there, and I could tell how caring he was for her and all his loved ones. I vividly remember his sister Jean Jones Hunter, with whom I worked in the welfare department. Frank ofter acted as a "patriarch' for the whole family, but he was not arrogant or domineering; instead, he had a caring and loving attitude. Regarding his military service: he also spent time in the Air Force at the hospital facility in Wiesbaden, Germany, and had fond memories of that time which he shared with me. I am one friend who will now miss him. May he now rest in peace, and may perpetual light shine upon him.
