Mr. Walk passed through my office only once a year in hs business with the city of New Orleans but from the first time I met him I admired him as a family man and one who would do anything for our youths and this community. Just once a year he left our office with a memory that would last into the next year when we would see him again. He was revered and often spoke of long after his visits stopped. Frank was a gentlemen's engineer. His character excelled beyond what was expected and he was always a good, kind and gentle person. He will sadly be missed by all.

Frank is in a much better place. There is no pain and suffering there and he is among all of those who preceded him and I am certain his family there will be happy to see him again.

Those here should celebrate his passing and be happy for him. They should remember only the good times and forget the other as those are only a distraction, not worthy of mention or remembrance.

May God Bless his family, and God Bless Frank H. Walker, Sr.

May 18, 2011
