Frederick J. Weidert a retired District Chief of Jefferson Parish Fire Department passed away on 4/9/2023. He was born on 12/4/1941 in New Orleans by the late Alton Weidert and Josephine Todaro Weidert. He is survived by his wife Patricia Weidert for 59 years and two sons Stephen Weidert and Scott Weidert. Also his three sisters Grace Gilmore ,Patricia Sharbonno and Susan Gwinnell. Cause of death is natural causes. A memorial service will be held on May 6th 2023 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church 501 Holy Trinity Dr in Covington ,La. Visitation is from 10:00am to 11:00am and a mass following at 11:00am.All family and friends are invited to come and remember the life of a man that was dearly loved by his family and friends.
