Fritz Myers

1962 - 2022

Fritz Myers was born October 10, 1962 to Alice and Robert Lewis in New Orleans, LA. He entered Eternal Rest on November 9, 2022. Fritz was educated in the New Orleans Public School System. Fritz entered the workforce and became a chef at Rick's Grille in the Capital One Building for over 20 years. He retired from Culinary Arts in 2016. While many will miss Fritz, he will most certainly be missed by his daughter, Tyra Abbott and companion Joyce Martin; Brothers, Maurice, Kedrick, Derrick (Keisha), Eugene (Sheila) Lewis and one sister, Charlotte (Roile) Jefferson; Two grandsons, Reginald Luckette, Jr. and Ra'King Abbott; Two great-grandsons, Reginald III and Tremon Luckett and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Star of Bethel Baptist Church, 2217 Harmony Street, New Orleans, LA 70115, on Saturday, November 19, 2022. Visitation begins at 9 AM followed by the Service at 10 AM. Pastor Leslie Sims, Officiant. Interment will follow at Providence Memorial Cemetery, 8200 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA 70003.
