Gary Kline Obituary


Gary M. Kline, 39,

formerly of Hamburg, PA, died in

a logging-truck accident on January 7th on Fire Hall Road, Grand Ronde, Oregon.

He was born in Reading, Pennsylvania, and was the son of Dennis R. and

Charlene V. (Lesher) Kline of Womelsdorf.

Gary was a 1993 graduate of Hamburg Area High School. He then served his country with pride as a U.S. Army veteran for five years.

He attended the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints in Monmouth, Oregon. At the time of his death, he was employed by Siletz Trucking Corporation.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by children: Madison Kline, Stockton, California; and Tristan Kline, Quebec, Canada; two brothers: Glen A., husband of Krista (Miller) Kline,

Aurora, Illinois; and Bryan D., husband of Lesley (Bone) Kline, Clayton, NC; one uncle, David A.,

husband of Betty Anne

(Tracy) Kline, Fredericksburg, Virginia; and several nieces, nephews and cousins and his beloved dog, Porter.

He was also predeceased by his maternal grandparents: Lester and Marie (Sarig) Lesher and paternal grandparents John and Katherine (Gromis) Kline, and one uncle, Bruce Lesher.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 17th at 11:00 AM from the Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home, Inc., 40 S. 4th Street,

Hamburg, PA. A visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Burial will be

in Friedens Cemetery,

Lenhartsville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Berks County, 1801 North 11th Street, Reading, PA. 19604. Online condolences may be made at www.burkeydriscoll.com.
