George Fallen Obituary

FALLEN George A. Fallen, Sr. August 8, 1939October 24, 2005 Entered into eternal rest on at Chandler Hospice in San Antonio, Texas after evacuating New Orleans, LA due to Hurricane Katrina. Age 66 years. George was a native of Chicago, IL and a resident of New Orleans, LA for 46 years. He retired from New Orleans Sewerage and Water Board as a pipe man and also held jobs at Goodwill Industries and Harrah's Casino. A former member of Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church. George was the oldest of seven children born to the late George and Margaret Fallen. He leaves to mourn four sons: George III, Ronald, Jermone and Chris; four daughters: Delores, Pamela, Druscilla and Tenecia; 18 grandchildren; two brothers: William J. and Walter Bernard Fallen; one sister, Connie Hightower Fincher; one brother-in-law, Claudius Fincher; two sisters-in-law: Odile (Nina) Fallen and Antronie Fallen; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts and cousins. Preceded in death by three sisters, Annie Brooks, Patricia Banks and Priscilla Jackson. Arrangements handled by D. W. Brooks Funeral Home, San Antonio, Texas.
