paw paw i love you very much and miss you very much thank you for caring about me and loving me through all of my times in need. you would tell me that you loved me everytime i called to talk to you and granny that meant alot to me and kept me going strong alot of times when i needed to hear it . i hope you could hear me as i sang to you in your last hours on this earth and i hope you could feel my touch as i held your hand until you took your last breathe i thank god i got to be there with you until the end of your life where we watched as you went to paradise.i love granny and would do anything for her never forget that we love and miss you until we meet again in heaven i love you paw paw and willl pray for you, see you in my dreams your loving granddaughter, abby

My Dear Husband,
It has been 25 months since you have been called to heaven. It is said that time heals all wounds, however, the void in my heart is a loneliness and longing for you as strong as the day that you left us.
I encounter many friends from Plaquemines Parish, some who have not heard of your passing. They were amazed that such a strong and vibrant friend is gone. They share with me some good memories of you with me.

Paw Paw I didn't know i could come on here and leave a message or I would have done it sooner. I miss you so very much. It breaks my heart everyday that you are gone. I know you are free of pain now. I remember all the times you use to tell me stories when i would stay by the house when i was in pre-school i hold all of those memories dear to my heart and I will be sure to tell my children what a great man you were. We are all doing our best to take care of granny but she misses you so much. I can see it in her eyes and hear it in her voice. You might be gone but you will NEVER be forgotten.

My dear husband,
You are always in my thoughts. We
know you are with Our Holy Father in Heaven, free from the pain and suffering which you endured for so long without complaint. I was your main concern.
Our two wonderful daughters and grandchildren are taking good care of me, as you asked them to, time after time, for years prior to your illness.
We try to remember the happy times, but for all of the holidays and birthdays and other occasions when we are all together, our grief is always there. Even our young great-grandchildren speak of you so very often, telling me how much they love and miss you, and want to follow in your footsteps. There are now six of them, with the birth of another this month.
You always callled me your better half and I called you my other half. You always said I was very strong and could handle any situation.
My Darling, you truly were my other half and my strength I derived from you. Since I lost you, there is a void in my aching heart that no one can fill. I will love you and miss you forever.

Daddy.. it seems like 1,000 years since I have seen you last it has been only 1 year today. I miss you very much but it would have been selfish of me to ask you to stay in all the pain you were in.. I hope I helped you in the last days you were here I tried everything I knew to help ease your pain. I know I will see you again. Don't worry about mama I will do everything for her just like I did for you.
