PEACE IN THE NIGHT
How I found peace in the night
After everyone had gone
As my suffering came to an end
Witnesses, I wanted none
I say to my wife
Thank you for staying by my side
To my mother I say
I entered your heart with your arms open wide
To my dear sweet children
I will guide you as you grow
As you walk through the darkness
Just follow my glow
To my siblings, we shared such joy and pain
And, my friends, I remember when we played in the rain
To everyone, don’t be sad for everything is all right
Just know that the pain stopped when I found peace in the night
My love is with you always.

My prayers and condolences goes out to Glosters mother, wife, children and family. Always remember that God gave us a special gift when he gave us Gloster. Although his time with us was short, we are more than blessed for having the pleasure to know him and to love him. He was a vey kind-hearted person with a great spirit and personality. He also had a big smile that went with his big heart and I know that he is smiling down on us now. May God Bless and Keep you All.

My sympathy is with you all. Gloster was a wonderful person. He was always the same. He was never the type to be moody. Always smiling and enjoying life. Gloster got me my first real job with Hibernia back in 1993. We work together at the New Orleans East Branch. I had know Gloster because he was very good friends with my aunt Terri Peyton. My family loved Gloster because he was real and kind. I am so sorry to hear of his death. I will continue to pray for his wife, children, mother, siblings, family and friends. May good bless you all.

I wanted so much to be there with you, but please know that my heart has been with you for weeks.
This is a little prayer that I say to myself. I hope these words would, if only for a moment, bring you comfort.
"The unknown is terrifying,
responsibility is overwhelming,
the untapped anger cannot be borne.
Hear our cry, O God of love,
for all so trapped in fear.
Open our hearts to trust
your presence to guide us
in the unknown places;
teach us to know
you will support us in all
that we undertake;
free us to share with you
the rage within, knowing
you will never desert us."
I hope to see or talk to you soon. Love always.

I have searched for my friend for approximately five years, but I could not locate him. I was notified by another friend that Gloster was gone to see his Father, who art in heaven as well as his earthy father. I hate that I found him this way, but he is now in a better place. No more pain and suffering. We spent lots of time together in college as great friends. I know he has been missed. I missed his drive and enthusiam. I remember our days when we played tennis in the park, took pictures of Gloster and his girlfriend Dina, now his wife. He was blessed in so many ways. His mother was the sweetest. I am sadden, but I will see you again, my friend.

This has truly been a great loss to a childhood/neighborhood friend! Gloster and I lost touch throughout the years, however when our paths did meet and we talked it was as if we just spoke to each other the day before - all of our cherised childhood memories would evolved. Back then he was the brother I never had and the friend I cherised and loved the most. I know that Gloster, my friend will truly be missed by EVERYONE HE TOUCHED!
To his wife, children and family you will forever be in my thoughts and prayers.
