Today makes 2 years since your beautiful HomeGoing Celebration. Although it was a rainy day, the overflow of family and friends in attendance and the overflow of family and friends near and far who shared condolences, beautiful prayers, pictures, flowers, stories and memories, indicates the treasured mark you have left in the hearts and lives of many. And when your best buddies say "It feels like Pawpaw is still here," they know of and will forever cherish your amazing love and spirit which will never fade!

I am so sorry to just learn that Harold left us much to young. He was a wonderful person who enjoyed being happy and was delighted to have met Andrella. Their love and bond remained strong when they first met and truly enjoyed each other. Harold will be missed but there is a special place in all our hearts. I remember when Harold lived across the street from Corpus Christi.

Harold, AKA Brother was an amazing person who had an amazing life. He left a huge impact on the lives of his children, grandchildren, and his community. I am honored to have had him as a part of our family. I pledge to stay close to the LOVE of his life, my cousin Andrella .You will be greatly missed. Harold was not only a Brother Knight of Saint Peter Claver but a special friend. We shared many good times together. It was always a pleasure to spend quality times with him as a true Brother.
Sandra and I were blessed to have known him and Andrella and to have traveled with them on our many occasions. One of Harold's dreams was to go to Yellowstone National Park. It was a great joy for him in taking many pictures of the scenery with the buffalos . Another dream was to climb in a section of the mountain in the Grand Teton National Park and see a waterfall. Although Harold was not feeling well, he wanted to climb to a high point of the Park. What a joy he felt when he made it at least three fourth of the way. Another goal of Harold and Andrella wanted to accomplish was to visit all fifty states together. We were with them when they completed the 50th state, North Dakota--the same year they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary!!
We knew Harold as a very loving, generous, hard-working, kind, thoughtful, faith-filled family man and friend. He's a "very real people's person".
You brought joy to us my Brother!

A friend asked me a question. What was your best memory of your uncle? It was every moment I saw him and the nickname he would call me. "Willie Woo " just hearing his voice say that had power. I enjoyed the moments I had with him especially at a younger age. His jokes, his laugh and his example of being a creative soul in art on a shirt, framing, really anything. The enjoy he would bring to any family function life of the party. So many moments cherish and he will be missed dearly. He wasn´t my Parrain but I called him that all my life. Harold, Brother, Mr. Morris was a friend, mentor and inspiring leader. I have so much respect for for him because of how he lived a life filled with love of his family, friends and everyone he met. Always building and improving something, he was generous with his wisdom, guidance and expertise and partied daily as if there was no tomorrow. I laughed a lot when I was in his company and will cherish that.
What a great person and awesome example of what a real man should be. Thank you Brother for shining your light so brightly on us all.

One of the greatest men I´ve ever known. My grandfather was one of a kind, and could do anything he set his mind to. Growing up I was always amazed by the many things he learned how to do. He never gave up, always stayed positive, and had jokes for days! I could write a book on the countless phrases and jokes he told me growing up. Some were just for fun, and others were life lessons. He was like a father for me, and not a day will go by where he won´t be missed. Rest easy Paw Paw. Don´t take no wooden nickels up there Brother! Love you !!

We lost one of the strongest. A creative and hard working man. A man that was all about his family, spreading love and making people smile. A man that reminds me of everyone in my family. I have so many memories of my uncle from my most recent of him dancing in his motorized wheelchair as hold told stories of him and my Aunt Andrella participating in dances to my oldest when i attend a family road trip from Louisiana to California.
