Helen Gean Clark, age 73, entered into eternal rest on Monday, August 12, 2024, at Ochsner Medical Center Westbank. She was a native of Waterproof, LA and a resident of Gretna, LA. She was a graduate of Jefferson High School, and a retired cook of the Jefferson Parish Correctional Center. Beloved companion of David Walker. Devoted daughter of the late Josephine Clark. Loving sister of Houston Holmes, Matthew Clark, Louis Calvin Clark, Joycie Clark-Scott, Alice Clark, Linda Shears, Sumanthia Doucher, and the late Robert Clark and LT Holmes. Helen is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other r relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Myrtle Grove Baptist Church of Waterproof, LA and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Homegoing Celebration at Myrtle Grove Baptist Church, 105A Street, Waterproof, LA on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at 12:00p.m. Interment: New Fountain Cemetery-Waterproof, LA.
