Holly Lynn Ries

Holly Lynn Ries entered into eternal rest on Friday, August 5, 2016. She was the proud, loving wife of Joey Ries. Proud loving mother of Katelyn Ries and grandmother of Colette Keller. Loving daughter of Susan Enloe and sister of Kellie Johnson (Rory). Aunt of Kaylee and Ashley Johnson and granddaughter of Patricia Waddell. She is also survived by an extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Gillespie Enloe, Jr., her grandparents, Gillespie and Helen Enloe Sr. and Jack Waddell. Holly was a graduate of Mandeville High School and LSU Nursing School. As an adolescent, she was diagnosed with Type I Diabetes and has since dedicated her life to taking care of others. Holly was full of life, and enjoyed every moment of her life with a smile on her face. She would do anything for anyone. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie, LA on Thursday, August 11, 2016, at 1:00 PM. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until Service time. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Holly's name to The Children's Diabetes Foundation at www.childrensdiabetesfoundation.org.
