For the entire McKissack family, Howard loved and adored all of you. I met Howard when you were living in Pass Christian and we were involved in Republican politics. Our relationship grew in other ways.

We would all do well to pattern our actions and life after Howard.

I will miss my friend greatly. He was the last of the true Christian gentlemen. I never knew a better man.

Our prayers for the comfort of our Lord Jesus are being made by Anita and me. I know as well as Howard where he now lives with his Savior.

I am truly sorry that I will be unable to attend the funeral. Will be out of town with the family. Our prayers are with you all.
