James Johnson Obituary

James Johnson, 71, passed away at home in Picayune, MS, on June 11, 2023. James was born on January 31, 1952 in St. Francisville, LA. James graduated from St. Francisville High School in 1970 and moved to New Orleans, LA right after. He was born with a naturally sweet and kind soul, and heart of gold. James was predeceased in death by his parents Edward Johnson and Susie McKenzie. He is survived by wife Janice M. Johnson, Mary, Ashley and Jamie Johnson, Tiffany Taylor and Krystal Parker, grandchildren and a host of other relatives. Services will be held at St. Matthews Baptist Church, 2000 James Thomas Street, Picayune, MS 39466 on June 16, 2023 at 10am. Burial at Saint Mary Church, 9080 St. Marys Road, St. Francisville, LA 70775.
