I came across Jim´s obituary while searching the internet for him and am saddened to learn of his passing. We were roommates in New Orleans for a year or so and became close friends during that period. I managed a men´s haberdashery on St. Charles and taught him how to dress with the established presence that an attorney in NOLA was expected to. I lost touch with Jim but I´m happy to read of his journey and a few of the lives he touched. My sincerest condolences to his family and wife!

Jim and I were on the opposite sides of the courtroom. He did not take a case that didn´t have merit. He did not win all , but more than most. He was very talented and always a gentleman. It was never scorched earth. I am glad to have met him and I referred cases to him of those that warranted such to have capable representatives. One cool guy .
