Connie, my deepest sympathy to you and your family. It was always a pleasure to visit with you and Uncle James at your home during football season. He fought a hard fight but has claimed his heavenly ticket to his new address with our Savior. I hope to stop by sometime and chat. Take care of yourself because that is what he would want you to do. I promise that it will take some time, but things will get better. Love you. Cynthia (Kevin sister)

Dearest Connie and Courtney,
May you find peace and strength in God's many blessings and fond memories of Seymour. As we remember the wonderful stories our precious Calvin, a life childhood friend of Seymour, shared with us about the goodness of your husband and father.
Please know we were grateful and honored that we had a chance to see Seymour when he traveled to Houston to speak at our Calvin's homegoing. We are sure they are still debating, cooking, and hanging out with our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
Much Love,
Sherry and Lea Williams

Connie and Courtney, please know that you all are in my deepest thoughts and prayers! My condolences to you and the family. You were truly blessed to have such a beautiful person as your loving husband/father, and I consider myself blessed to have had him as a loving boss/friend!! My years of working under Seymour at St. Marks was a very important part of my life. God truly used him to share his talents, knowledge and skills with others in a very special way. I'm grateful to have been a part of that group. Praying for your strength as you journey through these difficult days ahead! Btw, I'll never forget that New York Trip when my job was to babysit Courtney . Keeping you all in prayer!!!

Connie and Courtney, you have my deepest condolences. I've been knowing Mr. Seymour since elementary school at St. Peter Claver. After I graduated from College he gave me a job at St. Mark's Community Center and we've been friends since. He will be truly missed by all. He was such a kind and giving man. His work here on earth was done. Take your rest in Heaven. Love Rhonda!

Connie & family,
Mr. Seymour came into my life at grade school age, at St. Peter Claver School as my volleyball and softball coach. He was tough but fair. When I got married he allowed us to use St. Mark's Community Center, where he worked. I am forever grateful. What a wonderful man, who had the best smile of all and who was loved by all.
I am very sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Needless to say it's a hard thing to accept the going home of someone you've known for all of your adult life. But it is heartening to remember the last time we spoke that he was in exceptional spirits. He and Connie were the ultimate host who brought joy to others. He'll forever remain in my heart as the ever smiling Seymour. Rest In Peace.
