My heart goes out to Jimmy and his beautiful family today. I am so thankful I had the honor of knowing him. He made me feel like family at every event. His military stories were priceless; his sense of humor was keen. What a great life he lived, and what a beautiful family he created. Job well done soldier. -- Mike

My heart and thoughts and prayers go to Jimmy and his family today. He was a wonderful person who made me feel like part of his family at every event. I'll remember all his stories about his service years, his many laughs, his grin, and his keen home spun wisdom. What a great life he led, and what a beautiful family he created in three wonderful daughters who have spread joy throughout their lives. Job well done soldier.

I only knew Mr. Simoneaux a short time, but he made a big impression as man who always had a smile and a loving family. Rest well Mr. Simoneaux, you've earned it.

He was truly one of the most amazing men I ever met. His life was one of courage and service to country. He imparted his story with great humility. His love and kindness to me was immediate and never wavered. His laugh and his smile was infectious. His eyes would light up when he spoke to you. I feel blessed to be able to say that I was part of his family. You are loved and missed Jimmy.

My Daddy--He always knew how to fix our toys and made them better and they lasted longer. I watched Daddy take care of Mom, us, our cousins, our Aunts And Uncles and grandparents. We grew-up watching Daddy working in the garage , fixing everybody's broken toys, fans, appliances etc etc. And never asking us how it broke---He just did it. I would worked with him during the summertime--taking inventory at his work. It was wonderful to see how organized the Parts Department was--He did it all!!! That's how I learned to organized my things. In his tool chest every tool had a place for it. And he knew if one of us used his tools...But when James Henry was little ---he could play with Daddy's tools---Not us.

Daddy was a wonderful, caring, loving person. He taught me how to figure out how to fix things--not only stuff but in life---how to lovely care for my family and to be strong and courageous--and this has guided me through my life--I 'm very happy that he was my Daddy.
