Jarice Rechell Jefferson

Jarice Rechell Jefferson, entered eternal rest on Thursday, July 27, 2023, at the age of 34. She was a naive of Kenner, Louisiana, and resident of Westwego, La. She graduated from Destrehan High School in 2006, and was employed as a lab tech with Ochsner Hospital. She was also a member of The Mystic Krewe of Femme Fatale. Jarice was a loving and caring person who enjoyed spending time with family. She was there for anyone in need, and quick to lend a helping hand. Her memory will forever be treasured in the hearts of her loved ones. Jarice is survived by her parents, Julius L. White and Lisa L. White; brother, Julius L. (Yuneeka) Jefferson, niece and nephew Jewel and Julius Jefferson Jr, and a host of loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is also survived by her paternal grandmother, Annie White of Kenner, Louisiana; her maternal grandparents, Kenneth Washington and Marilyn Washington of Kenner, Louisiana and two godchildren Kenneth Jefferson Jr and Loghen Austin. She is preceded in death by her paternal grandfather Julius Griffin and maternal grandfather Jessie Griffin. Relatives, friends and associates are invited to attend her visitation service on Thursday August 3rd, 2023 at Richardson Funeral Home, 11112 Jefferson Hwy., River Ridge, LA 70123 from 4:00pm - 6:00pm with a repast to follow at the White's Residence. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday August 5th, 2023 for 12:00pm at The Harvest Baptist Church, 305 Lake Dr. Ferriday, LA 71334. Burial to follow at St. James Cemetery, 11923 US-84, Ferriday, LA 71343. Repast: VIP II, 117 Louisiana Ave. Ferriday, LA 71334.
