Jimmy Dore' Obituary
Jimmy was born June 30, 1956 in Coteau to the late Leo Paul Dore' and the late Hilda Bodin Dore'. He has held many titles during his years of work and was considered by all as a "jack of all trades" because of his skills. Jimmy built commercial traps for fisherman and also farmed sugar cane in his earlier days. He loved riding the tractor and being outdoors. Outside of his work, he enjoyed the simple life. Being with family, sitting outside having an ice cold Miller Lite, and just having a good time was a great day to him. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. Rest easy Jimmy. Until we meet again.
He is survived by his two daughters, Tammy Dore' and Jerimiah of St. Martinville, Tasha Dore and Kurt of St. Martinville; his two sons, Jimmy Dore, Jr. of St. Martinville and Brandon Dore and Keisha of New Iberia; 15 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; his two ride or die sons, Joby Bonin and Aims Wiltz; and his brothers and sisters, Eva Bonin, Anna Smith, Irine Smith, Aline Smith, Albert Dore', Gail Dore', and half-brother Lee Parker.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo Paul and Hilda Bodin Dore'; and his sister and brother, Dorothy Norris and Alfred Dore'.
A memorial service celebrating Jimmy's life will be announced at a later date on social medial and on his memorial page at www.evangelinestmartin.com
Evangeline Funeral Home of St. Martinville is in charge of arrangements.
