Ms. Joan was someone that you just thought would be around forever. I admired her for her grace, wisdom and determination to just make life better. Many were fortunate to have known her. Others will never know that she touched their lives...like the abused and neglected children of Jefferson Parish. Thank you for sharing her with us.

May your memories of her get you through the tough times. God bless you Mr. Dick and family.

To the Francis Family: I have many wonderful memories of Mrs. Francis. She was like a second mother to me. She always had great advice to share with Terry and me during our High School years. I know you will miss her dearly. With deepest sympathy, Leslie Fielding Gagnet

This is to Joan's husband and family. Even though you may not know me I did know Joan very well and Her passing has saddened me very much. I am one of her WBAG friends. Her friendship meant a lot to me. I don't have to tell you how wonderful a person she was, you know that. So interesting and smart. Just wanted you to know how I feel.
