Joey P. Breaux passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at the age of 64. Beloved husband of Faith C. Breaux for 32 years. Father of Jennifer Prejean (Jerry), Dana Facio (Adrian), Ashley Prejean (John), Jessica Prejean, and Michael Breaux. Son of the late Velma and Ernest Breaux. Brother of Alice Breaux and Roy Breaux. Grandfather of Lemuel "Bootsy" Oubre (Sarah), Emily Oubre, Aaliyah Prejean, Khaleesi Barton, Roy Vinet, Dayton Vinet and Neveah Rome. Also survived by his beloved canine companion, Trixy. Best friend of Bobby Akers and family. He loved drag racing, Dr. Pepper and spending time with his family. He was a native of Houma, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expwy., Harvey, LA on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at 1pm. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 11am until 1pm. Interment, Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA. Donations may be made in his memory to No One Fights Alone.
