John W. Brimer Jr.

John W. Brimer, Jr., co-owner of Crescent City Marine Group d/b/a Schubert's Marine, died by tragic accident on February 25, 2017 at age 60 while vacationing in Florida. John leaves behind the four loves of his life: Michele Weiser Brimer, wife of 36 years, and three children Jordan, Phillip and Caitlin Brimer. He is predeceased by John W. Brimer, Sr., father and Jo Ann Acker Brimer, mother. He is survived by his sister, Christopher Brimer (Jeff Williamson), step-mother, Mary Ann Brimer, step-brother, John Parsons (Cindy) and step-sister, Rhonda Lowderman (Steve). His beloved parents-in-law, Earl and Carolyn Weiser, brothers and sisters-in law, Michael Weiser (Pamela), Mark Weiser (Sharon), Matthew Weiser, Marlene Johnson (Kenneth), Melanie Mercier and numerous nieces and nephews. John graduated from Louisiana State University and was a devoted Tigers Fan and football fanatic. He loved boating, classic rock, making fun of reality TV, and showing kindness and compassion to everyone he met. John's favorite pastimes were riding his motorcycles, attending local music festivals, and taking cruises on the lake. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him. A memorial service/visitation is scheduled for 10:00 - 12:30 pm on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at St. Clement of Rome Church, 4317 Richland Avenue, Metairie, LA. A private burial for family will follow.
