John Edward ''Big John'' Morgan, Sr. died on Monday, October 18, 2004. Son of the late Rev. Louis and Gustavia Allen Morgan. Devoted husband of Maxine Mason Morgan. Father of Tyralyn Morgan-Spriggins, John Banks-Morgan and John E. Morgan, Jr. Brother of Albirda Morgan-Tillman. Father-in-law of William A. Spriggins, IV and Shalita Bradley. Stepfather of Sheila Dixon (Mims Dixon, Jr.) Sherlynn ''Debbie'' Williams and Diane Williams (Purnell Williams). Grandfather of William A. Spriggins V, John E. Banks, Jr., John E. Morgan, III, Dondi M. Franklin, Shamyra T. Nicholas, Bianca D. Williams, Sean M. Dixon and Kinshasa D. Banks of Los Angeles, CA. He is also survived by 3 great grandchildren, 1 sister-in-law Louise Morgan, a special cousin Willie Morgan, Sr. and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also Priests and Parishioners of St. Monica Catholic Church, employees of White Fleet and Morrison Cab Companies, Crescent City Softball League and former members of ''Big John's Outlaws'', Longshoreman Local 3000. Masonic Order Morton Chapter, Dr. Anthony Lama and his staff, Touro Uptown DIalysis Unit and Genesis Specialty Hospital, are all invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, October 23, 2004 at 10:00 am at St. Monica Catholic Church, 2327 S. Galvez St. Visitation will be from 8-10 am. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery/Mausoleum. Arrangements by D.W.
