I'm very sorry to here of John's passing. He was a great person to get to know even though he was in Hattiesburg for a short time. I just heard of the news a few days ago and wished to express my condolences to his family and fiance. His friends in Hattiesburg will always remember the good times we spent talking and watching SEC sports with John.

I have known John since he started working at Lane Memorial Hospital. My deepest sympathies go out to Morna and his family for I have known John only a short time and it was obvious he was a wonderful person and loved by all. He always had a smile on his face and never complained about fixing something in the lab. My co-workers and I will truly miss him.
Heaven is one lucky place right now to have him there. God Bless...

Part of me died on Wednesday, March 17, and I will never be the same. However, I do find comfort in how much John is loved by his friends. He will be greatly missed not just by me but by all who had the privilege of knowing him. I ask for continued prayers especially for his family. If anyone has any little stories or memories of John to share, please email them to me.

I have known John for a couple of years now. He was such a great person, I could always count on him to be willing to do anything. He truly loved life. He was always in a great mood. He always took care of me when David was not around at the partybox. He really touched my heart. I will miss him dearly. I will never forget him. To his family I am so very sorry for your loss, he was and always will be a great man.

John always had a smile on his face and a warm greeting for friends and strangers alike. If we could all be like John in that respect, the world would be a better place. We'll miss seeing him.

John was the kind of person who would start talking to a stranger standing next to him and within 10 minutes have a new friend. If you ever needed help with anything he was glad to lend a hand. John was a great friend and will truely be missed by many.

Beef told me Wednesday night that God must need a loyal friend in Heaven and that is why He chose John at this time. John had a lot of friends who thought the world of him and would agree. We will all miss him and he will be in our thoughts for years to come.

I had the privilege to work with John. We became good friends over the time he spent at Lane. Morning coffee and a run down of the previous day's events is how we started many mornings. His smile and fun-loving personality will deeply be missed. His laughter will forever be in the halls and his smile in our thoughts. Deepest sympathy to John's family, friends and to his fiance Morna and Jared.

I haven't known John for very long -we met through our mutual love for LSU baseball a couple of years ago. In that short period, however, I came to look forward to seeing his easy smile each weekend LSU played at the Box. He was just a happy guy. The Box won't be as much fun without him. I'll miss him. I'll remember him.
My sincerest sympathy goes out to John's family and loved ones. //mickey sullivan
