I met Dr. Walsh when I was a nurse working at Tulane hospital. Years later, he walked into my brother's hospital room to deliver some tragic news. He remembered my name, took my hands in his and showed the kindest, most gentle compassion possible. I will be eternally grateful for Dr. Walsh. He made a difference in so many lives, including mine. My deepest sympathy to his family.

Dr. Walsh was my daughter's neurologist. He was always so thoughtful and caring. He always seemed to put her us at ease before surgery. We will miss him greatly.

Remembering John as a great uncle at a very difficult time in my childhood. I also hold dear the memory of his relationship with my aunt--they were a loving couple who lived for each other.
