Joseph Cure Obituary

CURE Joseph Eloi Cure, Jr., 82, of Bay St. Louis, MS passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2011, in Gulfport, MS. He was of the Catholic Faith, a native of New Orleans, LA, and has been a resident of Clermont Harbor and Bay St. Louis, MS for the past 52 years. He served in the Merchant Marines and the U.S. Army during the Korea Conflict. He is preceded in death by his father, Joseph E. Cure, Sr., mother, Muriel Adarno, niece, Ferrel Audibert and son-in-law, Jeffrey J. Rutherford. He is survived by his four children and their spouses, Cynthia Cure Rutherford, Joseph R. Cure, Sr. and Elizabeth, Michael D. Cure and Pam and Susie Cure Gollott and Nicky all of Waveland, MS, eight grandchildren, Ashley Rutherford McLendon, Katie Rutherford, Michael D. Cure, II, Chelsea Michelle Cure, Sarah E. Cure, Joseph R. Cure, Jr., Cody Cure Gollott and Gabrielle "Abby" Gollott, two great-grandchildren, his sister, Muriel Hansen and one nephew. The visitation is on Wednesday, April 13, 2011 from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon at St. Clare Catholic Church in Waveland, MS. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 12:00 noon. Entombment will follow in Gulf Coast Memorial Cemetery and Mausoleum in Bay St. Louis, MS. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to, National Multiple Sclerosis, 145 Executive Dr., Suite 1, Madison, MS 39110. Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis, MS is in charge of the arrangements.
