Deacon Rosato served as a medical missionary with Christ the Healer - Christo Sana where he helped the sick and orphaned people of Nicaragua on many missionary trips. He attended annual retreats at the Manresa House of Retreats with Group 10 for over fifty years and served as Lead Captain for Group 10 for many years. Deacon Rosato also served in the US Navy. Survivors include his daughters, Jill Rosato Miester (Alvin), Lori Rosato Brunet (Sean), and Amy Rosato Robertson (John); six grandchildren: Emma Elizabeth Miester, Samuel Packard Miester, Grace Olivia Miester, Claire Elizabeth Brunet, John McEnery Robertson III, Bayne Hopkins Robertson; one brother Elward Rosato and one sister Marilyn R. Ron was an important inspiration in my spiritual journey. For many years we met for lunch and discussed religion. He invited me to Manresa 9 years ago and really amped it up. I have several trees in my yard that I will cherish. I was lucky to have him for a client for over 20 years. RIP Ron. My heart goes out to his family.

Amy, I am so deeply sorry for your loss. It seems like yesterday that I was standing atop, in the choir loft at St. Patrick's Church watching you walk down the aisle and singing for your beautiful wedding ceremony. It was such a happy time. Now I know that you are so sad. Please know that my prayers are with you. Your family is in my prayers. Please know that through the Holy Spirit the peace that passes all understanding will enfold you in the blanket of our Lord's love and comfort. May you rest in His peace, Katie Shirkey LEITHEAD

Dear Jill, Lori, & Amy,

Your Dad, Ronnie, and your family were such wonderful friends and neighbors for a very, very long time to my godfather and his wife, my aunt & uncle, Frank & Esther Stigler. My aunt and uncle watched you all grow up into wonderful young ladies. My aunt spoke of you all so fondly over the years to me. And she and my uncle enjoyed watching you all grow up. I am so sorry for the loss of your father. May you find comfort in your faith and knowing that you will see him once again in heaven.

Sincerely,
Eve Dansereau Harmeyer

So shocked and saddened by the news of Ron's passing. Have many memories of our time together at Pendleton and our weekends at Manressa. What a totally wonderful person. He was always so concerned about others. He will be missed. Love to the family. Keeping family and friends in our thoughts and prayers. God's Blessings!

Deacon Ron was a very special person. I was blessed to have crossed paths with him. He was a humble man and a man of faith. He answered the call to service of others. I would call him once a year to ask him to come to his alma mater, De La Salle High School, to assist in the blessing of the St. Joseph Altar. He loved the Italian cookies and artichokes! I will miss him dearly especially on the feast day of his patron, St. Joseph.

October 20, 2015

we miss Ronnie and loved him...he was the best next door neighbor and friend to Greg & Stephanie Richards for 12 yrs....... always thoughtful, caring, giving of himself...still crying... seeing his car still parked... but knowing he is in the loving arms of Jesus, his Savior.
