John and I remember Joycelin fondly! She had a wonderful smile and welcomed us by name when we came to RSL to visit my mom, Joan Pettus. Joycelin and mom were friends and sat at the same table for meals. I am sure RSL and all her friends there are sad to lose her!

Mrs. Couvillion was my 3rd grade teacher at St. Raphael - along with my twin sister (we were Kathryn and Kathleen Macaluso) and at least one of my brothers. I remember her as a kind and caring teacher. She definitely led a full life. My sincere condolences to the family.

I had the pleasure of Mrs. Couvillon teaching me in 3rd grade, St.Raphael, 66 years ago. I remember her to be a kind, fare, loving teacher. Hard to imagine in today's schools, but back then we had 60+ kids to a classroom. I feel privileged to have known her.
