Judith Landry "Judy" Reed died in her home on the morning of July 25, 2023, at the age of 68. She was born and raised on the West Bank of New Orleans and attended West Jefferson High School. She raised two loving children, as a single mother, until she met the love of her life, and married Don Reed. They made a beautiful life together in Baton Rouge for 40 years. Judy loved crafting, working in her gardens, having lunch with her bestie, and spending time with her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Judith Ann Zeringue; her parents Lois Lovas Landry and Lionel Landry Jr.; her brother, Lionel Landry III; her brother-in-law, Glenn Reed; and sister-in-law, Marilyn Zander. She is survived by her loving husband, Donald L. Reed; her sister, Darlene Landry; her brother, Donnas Landry (Kathy); her children, John S. Zeringue III (Robert Cook), Daniel L. Reed (Clara), and Tiffany Reed Summers (Clint); her beloved grandchildren, Elisabeth, Olivia, Sofia, Cade, Sarah, Landry, Mackie, CJ, and Celeste; as well as her nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephew. In lieu of services, visitation, or flowers, the family encourages donations be made to the American Heart Association or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in her memory.

I loved the stories that would be shared when we got together that would make her laugh. She had a great laugh and sometimes what we would remember she could not stop laughing.
