Justilien Paul Small

Justilien Paul Small was born on July 5, 1933 in New Orleans. He was the only child of the late Elouise and Paul Small. He was baptized on July 30 at St. Joan of Arc Church. He was eighty one years old. He attended St. Augustine High School. Justilien later met his wife Geraldine August and they were married on June 9, 1956. He worked at Avondale Shipyards, Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office, Jefferson Parish School Board, Orleans Parish Criminal Sheriff's Office, and Newman School. Justilien enjoyed socializing with friends and family. He especially enjoyed hunting and being outdoors. He leaves to mourn his wife Geraldine Small of fifty eight years, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass and Service on Saturday November 15, 2014 10:00a.m. at Blessed Sacrament-St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 8321 Burthe St. Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. Interment will be at Green Street Cemetery.
